Schedule F & 1099 Tracker
Hand your CPA an organized file.
Income
Log every income transaction. Categories cover grain sales, raised and purchased livestock, cooperative distributions, ag program payments, CCC loans, crop insurance, custom work, and more, and the category you pick fills in its likely Schedule F line. Breeding livestock sales and interest income are logged for your records but kept off the Schedule F lines.
Expenses
33 expense categories, each pointing to its likely Schedule F line, including the other-expenses breakout. Log date, payee, category, amount, and check number. The cost of purchased livestock and resale items is subtracted from those sales rather than counted with operating expenses, and depreciation takes the amount your CPA gives you.
1099 Tracker
Payees to review with your CPA, each with a year total compared to the reporting threshold you enter, a W-9 on-file column, and entity type and form recorded per your CPA. Plus a log of the 1099s you received to compare against your income records.
Schedule F Summary
Totals every income and expense category to its likely Schedule F line, down to net farm profit, for your CPA to review. Includes a self-employment tax estimate, a log for estimated tax payments, breeding livestock and interest totals kept separate, and a check that every row you logged is counted.
Monthly Summary
All income and expense categories broken out by month, calculated from your log entries. Net income per month shows your seasonal cash flow, and a reconciliation shows how the monthly view ties back to net farm profit.
